Prothiki is a new service introduced by AUTh Library and Information Centre. It hosts scientific open access journals, published by departments, faculty members and research centers of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and supports all stages of publishing process in an online environment. Prothiki’s journals are searchable through well known search engines. Training and technical support are provided by Library’s staff.

“Prothiki” has been developed within the project "AUTh's Scholarly Work Promotion Services", operational programme Digital Convergence, which is jointly funded by Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).
Vetus Testamentum et Hellas
VTeH is the first academic journal in Greece focused on Οld Testament and Septuagint Studies and their interaction with Ancient Greek language and thought. It publishes lectures of international scholars given at the School of Pastoral and Social Theology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as peer-reviewed contributions to the Septuagint in relation to pre- and post-septuagintal Greek literature and culture. It also aims to challenge original research and to contribute to the international discussion on the method of Old Testament and Septuagint Exegesis and Theology.

Synthesis is the scientific ejournal of the Faculty of Theology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which is published twice a year. The Scientific and the Editorial Board of the magazine consist of Faculty members. Synthesis will be published only electronically.

Skene is an academic journal about the theatre, published by the Department of Drama of the School of Fine Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The contributions in skene focus both on theatre theory and theatre practice, welcoming academic studies, as well as texts and testimonies written by contemporary theatre artists.
Skene is an open access journal, yet in order to view the full text of the articles you need to register first as a reader.
At present, skene does not publish English versions of its articles, unless the original language of the article submitted is English. Most of the pages of the English interface of the journal are still under construction.
